Mayra Samaniego
I fell in love with photography long before Little Life Studio officially opened its doors in December 2016. What started as a love for capturing and preserving life's little moments has grown into the incredible honor of photographing hundreds of families and thousands of memories.
Over the years, I've had the joy of photographing people in every stage of life - from hours-old newborns to growing families and everything in between. I believe the most meaningful photographs are the ones that feel genuine, capturing the connection, love, and little moments that make your family uniquely yours.
I'm so grateful to have spent the years since 2016 doing what I love most: creating beautiful, timeless images that let you remember not just what this season looked like, but how it felt.
We're Adrian and Mayra, the husband-and-wife team behind Little Life Studio, and we're so happy you're here! Our journey began as wedding photographers, and over the years it naturally grew into photographing families through every stage of life. Today, Adrian focuses on weddings and outdoor family photography, while I, Mayra, specialize in maternity and newborn photography.
We truly love what we do and feel incredibly grateful to document your family's story from the very beginning and beyond. We proudly serve families throughout Connecticut, New York, and the surrounding shoreline areas.

The Studio
Little Life Studio has grown into something a little different - and a little more personal. Newborn sessions now happen right in the comfort of your own home, where your baby can stay warm, cozy, and undisturbed in the space they already know best. It's a hybrid experience: your baby's portraits are styled and lit to the same soft, artful, studio-quality look you've always loved from us, while the family moments are captured in a light, minimal, lifestyle style using your own home as the backdrop - your nursery, your living room, your everyday spaces, made timeless.
For maternity, family, and milestone sessions, we welcome you into our serene studio spaces in North Haven and West Haven, CT - quiet, intentional environments designed for relaxing, reflecting, and storytelling. And for families who love the outdoors, we're always happy to bring that same gentle, unhurried approach to a favorite outdoor setting.
However and wherever we shoot, every moment is carefully thought out to express the true, raw emotion between you and your family - because these are the memories you'll want to hold onto forever.
